Ninja Foodi Power Pitcher System Review (2023) Ninja SS351 Blender & Food Processor

First off, there’s the Ninja SS101 which only includes the personal cup and nutri bowl. If you don’t need to make hefty servings, the SS101 is a more practical option.

The Ninja SS201 (blender and food processor), on the other hand, is something I don’t recommend. The price (at the time I’m writing this) isn’t all that different from the SS351. 

Therefore, if you want the best bang for the buck version, then the Ninja Foodi SS351 is definitely for you.

Let’s start with its pros and cons.

What can you make with the Ninja Foodi Power Pitcher?

In the Ninja Foodi Power Blender’s product description, it says that it’s a 4-in-1 appliance. Knowing that, it shouldn’t disappoint with the number of things it can make, right?

Lucky for us, it delivers! 

Here are some recipes you can make with the Ninja Foodi SS351:

With these applications (particularly kneading dough), it’s almost as capable as high-end blenders like Vitamix and Blendtec. Truthfully, Vitamix blenders still comes out on top in terms of quality, whereas Ninja is a runner-up.

But wait, let me tell you something:

When you think about it, the Ninja Power Pitcher System has an excellent balance between affordability and overall quality. In other words, if you’re on a budget, this option is certainly worth considering.

On the flip side:

Some recipes are still a no-no for this Ninja, like hot blends and dry grains. Also, despite being a “food processor,” it can’t do any proper slicing or grating.

The good news is that considering its numerous possibilities, the advantages still outweigh the cons by a considerable margin.

Now, let’s move on to its usability.

Is the Ninja Foodi Power Pitcher Blender easy to use?

Sadly, ninja countertop blenders have the lowest score for ease of use, but it’s for a good reason. Essentially, it’s an excellent tradeoff to safety features, giving it a perfect 5 out of 5.

For instance, when the pitcher and lid are not correctly installed, the machine will not start. Also, it will detect the vessel that you’re using. For a powerful blender with sharp blades, it’s a matter of great importance.

Here’s the kicker:

Of all the Ninja blenders, the Ninja Foodi SS351 has the best control panel. To begin with, it has a really sleek design which is a perfect match with the rest of the Foodi collection.

Moreover, contrary to their usual 8+ buttons, there are only 4 buttons and 1 dial. In other words, it’s a lot more straightforward to use. It’s also the ONLY Ninja blender with a dial after the old version—Ultima Kitchen System.

On top of all that:

Unlike other ninja blenders with one to three speeds, this variant has 10 rates. Simply put, you can customize the texture better—from chunky salsa to smooth purees. 

In terms of cleaning, it’s a 4 out of 5. 

You can use the blender to clean itself. Simply add warm soapy water into the pitcher, and blend for about 30 seconds. Afterward, thoroughly rinse, and you’re done! 

Better yet, it’s also dishwasher safe. So, if you’re feeling lazy, you always have the option to load it into the dishwasher.

As for the central unit, you only need to wipe it with a damp cloth.

Pro tip: Clean or rinse your blender immediately after blending.

What makes the Ninja Foodi SS351 Power Blender better than its competitors?

It has 6 pre-programmed settings called Auto-iQ, making the blending experience easier. Simply press the manual/Auto-iQ button, select by turning the dial to your desired program, and press start. 

The blender will do the rest of the work, for it will automatically run by itself. The presets are programmed with specific duration, speeds, and pulses to achieve excellent results. 

Combine that with a digital timer; multitasking is a piece of cake with this Ninja Foodi Power Pitcher System.

It features anti-stall technology and a power paddle (Nutri bowl) or a built-in tamper. These hallmarks happen to be a tremendous help for thick blends. As a matter of fact, these are the same features that make its sibling, Ninja Foodi SS101, the best smoothie blender.

Accessories

The Ninja SS351 has several useful accessories you’re going to love. 

To begin with, there are the main characters: total crushing blades and a 72-ounce pitcher. Essentially, this product won’t be a blender/food processor without these two.

Second, it comes with a dough blade attachment which should provide you with excellent assistance when baking.

Then, there’s the 24-ounce personal cup with lid spout and hybrid blades. This allows the Ninja Power Pitcher System to work as a personal blender too. Better yet, using this travel cup will result in a smoother smoothie.

When it comes to thick blends such as nut butter and smoothie bowls, the power Nutri bowl attachment is one of the best. Thanks to the power paddle, you can scrape the constituents back to the blades without stopping the operation.

Last but not least, it also includes a cleaning brush for removing any persistent residue in the vessel.
